ECO BIOBASED TPU HOT MELT ADHESIVES － Goldthane ECO SERIES In 2015, UN set 17 sustainable development goals (SDGS). Especially SDGS 13 Climate Action, it is still possible to limit warming to 1.5oC and reduce Green House Gases of value chain. For difficultly reducing remaining emission, the effect could be offset by permanent removing equal amount of CO2 from air. Biobased TPU hot melt adhesive Biobased TPU hot melt adhesive is a thermoplastic polyurethane particle. It is made from plant fermentation derived. By processing into film and heated bonded to the substrate or using T-die extrusion, coating onto a substrate material for bonding. The anchoring phenomenon during bonding, after hot pressing and cooling, the bonding would be completed shortly. It is a process of green environmental without solvent and advantageous to create a safe clean working environment without pollution. How to store Thermoplastic polyurethane

Avoid any moisture and exposure to sun. Products must be stored at dry, well ventilation place and keep in room temperature ( at 25℃ or 77℉ ).

What is the characteristic of Ink carrier adhesives

TPU as ink carrier need to be used with solvent, the appearance is transparent with good tone condition and color rendering, it possess good abrasion resistance, flexibility and adhesion characteristic, it is the best product for ink or coating application.

What is the characteristic of Solvent-Based

We provide four different solvent-based TPU adhesive, general, non-yellowing, PCL and non-yellowing without organic TIN, has good solubility, good plasticity at low temperature and high crystallinity, good heat resistance, non-yellowing properties with wide range of viscosity, processing temperature.

TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) is a pellet that can be processed by spinning, injection and extrusion to meet different needs. As it provides good elasticity, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and good flexibility, so widely used in shoe, textile, automobile and furniture industries…etc. Sun Yang provide four series of TPU for Fiber application, Hot Melt Adhesives, Solvent-Based and Ink carrier adhesives.

What is the characteristic of Fiber application

It has good elasticity, abrasion resistance, high toughness, anti-slippery, oil resistance, waterproof, low melting temperature and good flexibility. In order to provides different results depends on the type of knitting method, we designed products with flow beginning temperature ranges from 100℃ to 160℃.

What is Hot Melt Adhesives

Hot melt adhesives (HMA) is made of thermoplastic polyurethane, it can be coated or laminated on substrate, after being cooled to solidify the bonding strength will increase immediately. As a green materials, there is no solvent in hot melt lamination process, TPU HMA provides safe and clean working environment, and can be recycled.

What is Solvent-Based

Solvent-based TPU is an adhesive that needs to be used with solvent. It can be dissolved in MEK, Acetone and EAC solvents to produce PU glue. It can effectively reduce the costs of transportation and production.
